ZOOM IN: Study Abroad Contest

The Office of Study Abroad is holding a contest for students  who have studied abroad. They are looking for the most interesting, compelling, exciting and awe-inspiring photos. For more information, email Erica Acosta at [email protected].

Alternative Fall Break

Sign ups are now available for the Alternative Fall Break Trip to Washington, DC to serve the hungry and homeless population. The group will leave Oct. 15 and return Oct. 18. Cost is $75. Contact Caitlin Czech in Campus Interfaith at [email protected].

Annual Alcohol Awareness Walk

Join the walk toward awareness of the dangers of excessive and underage drinking on a one-mile walk on Oct. 20 starting at noon. The walkers will start on the greenway. A free long sleeved t-shirt will be given to all participants. Register with Gail Holby at [email protected] by Oct. 12.

Influenza Vaccine

Wilkes University Health & Wellness Department is offering the Influenza vaccine Fluzone Quadrivalent at a cost of $20.00, payable by check made out to Wilkes University or cash. Vaccines will be given during regular office hours. There is a limited number of shots available which are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Caner Ribbon Pin Fundraiser

The Nesbitt School of Pharmacy Relay Team is selling cancer ribbon pins for Relay for Life. The enamel pins with gold trim and cut out heart detail are ​1 and 1/4” in length and attach with a standard pin back. Cost is $5. Orders are due Oct. 14.
