Zach Paraway, Sports Editor
Zachary Paraway is the Sport Editor for the Beacon. Paraway joined The Beacon as a first-year writing for the news section. He went on to write for news in his sophomore year as well. He took on his current position in fall of his senior year after not being apart of the paper his junior year.
Paraway will be completing his undergraduate degree this coming spring, completing a degree in Communication Studies with concentrations in Media Production and Multimedia Journalism. He will return next year to complete a Master’s in Business Administration.
Outside of the paper, Paraway serves as the Vice President of Wilkes’s Multicultural Student Coalition, Secretary and co-founder of Wilkes’s Black Student Union, a resident assistant on campus, Sports Director for Wilkes Now!, Sports Director for 90.7 WCLH, and a member of Zebra Communications.
