Q: What was the driving force for your decision to come to Wilkes?

A:The main reason I picked Wilkes was to earn my Pharm. D while being able to still be a student athlete.

Q: Post-graduation plans in terms of a Career?

A: I would like to either do pharmaceutical lab research that deals with oncology or work in a hospital specializing in pediatric cancer.

Q: What are your hopes for your sophomore season as a Colonel?

A: Moving forward, I hope to make 1st team all-Mac conference as an individual but, more importantly, I’d like to make it to conference finals and place first.

Q: When/Why did you first begin playing volleyball?

A: I started playing volleyball in 7th grade because one of my softball friends I would be able to serve over had and should try it out.

Q: If you had to choose one thing about Wilkes’ Volleyball Program that you could improve, what would it be?

A: There is nothing that I would truly change about the volleyball program at Wilkes. I believe that the athletic administrators and coaches work hard to provide a learning atmosphere that allows each student to grow as a college athlete. We are provided with the tools and necessities to grow and it is how we as individuals use them to our advantage.

Q: Do you have other sports/interest/hobbies off of the field?

A: Off the court, I coach a club volleyball men’s team alongside Coach Czopeck. I am also a part of the Enactus club on campus. It is a business-oriented club that uses grants to aid and promote entrepreneurs in the Wilkes community and on campus in order to create a better atmosphere for their employees and business owners.

Q: Who would you say, is the most influential person in your life?

A: The most influential person in my life is my mother. She does above and beyond to make sure that I am taken care of and have all the opportunities possible to me. She is one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met and don’t where I would be without her.

Q: A quote you live your life by?

A: “Any inkblot can turn into a beautiful butterfly.” AKA: any bad situation has a positive; it is just in the way you look at it.

Q: What does “Be Colonel” mean to you?

A: Exude yellow and navy and be a leader.

Q: If you could have dinner with a famous person from the past, who would it be?

A: If I could have dinner with one famous person from the past it would be Walt Disney. He is such an influential and prominent figure when it comes to cartoons and animation altogether. It would be interesting to hear him tell all of his stories and be in his presence.
