AOTW: Brooke Limeberry

Q: What brought you to Wilkes?

A: I could have went D1, but I chose Wilkes for the small class size.

Q: What is your favorite part about Wilkes?

A: I like being in the city and being able to to do the two things I love: nursing and softball.

Q: What is your major?

A: I am a Nursing major.

Q: What are you planning on doing with your degree?

A: I want to get my Doctorate of Nurse Practioning in Emergency Medicine or Oncology.

Q: What inspired you to do that?

A: My mother is a nurse and had cancer and she’s a huge inspiration in my life. I hope one day I can be half the nurse, friend, and mother she is.

Q:  When did you start playing softball?

A: I started playing when I was a youngin at 8. I already knew I was gonna be real at it.

Q:  How has your experience gone playing softball at Wilkes?

A: It’s definitely different, but I love it. Shout out to my squad! #WUball

Q: What was your most memorable moment on the diamond here?

A: Last year when Alysha Bixler broke the homerun record in her last game ever.

Q: Where are you from?

A: Easton, PA.

Q: Is Easton like that?

A: Easton has the best athletes on every team here… so yes JT we are like that

Q: Did you play any other sports in High School?

A: I played field hockey as well.

Q: Who’s your favorite professional sports team?

A: I like the Dallas Cowboys for football and Phillies for baseball.
