Wilkes University Theatre will present Dogfight the Musical on Feb. 19 through 28. Performances are at 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. curtain on Feb. 21 and 28 at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts.

On the eve of their Vietnam deployment, three soldiers set out for a night of debauchery when one of them meets an awkward waitress to help him win a cruel bet. She turns the tables and rewrites the rules of the game to teach him the power of compassion.

Based on the Warner Bros. film and screenplay by Bob Comfort, with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, it features direction by Joseph C. Dawson, associate dean, and musical direction by Ken McGraw. Dogfight the Musical was the winner of the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical.

General admission is $10; $5 for students and seniors and free for all Wilkes students, faculty and staff with ID. For more information, please call the box office at 570-408-4540.
