How does it feel to win the MAC back to back seasons? Winning the MAC back to back is for sure an amazing feeling. It says a lot about our team and the winning culture we have built here at this school. Everyone works super hard every single day and it is really special to be a part of a team that battles as hard every single day as they do. Bringing another conference championship back to our school is an amazing feeling.
Do you have any pre-game rituals? I do not have too many pre game rituals, I try to stay pretty consistent with routines though and tend to be a little superstitious but I end up just doing things that feel right to do in the moment.
Who is your role model? My parents are definitely my role models, although there has been many influential people in my life my parents have always been my number one. They’ve always supported me through everything and taught me the importance of hard work, staying humble, and never giving up. They’ve been there for me my entire hockey career, so a lot of what I do on and off the ice is inspired by them.
What was the game against Adrian like? The game against Adrian was a really tight battle. It was a hard-fought 2–1 game and everyone had to stay locked in the whole time, we followed the game plan which helped our successes. I thought our team competed hard and supported each other well, which made the difference in such a close game. It was very rewarding to be able to be apart of the programs first ever NCAA tournament win!
