The first week of Olympic games have concluded and Team USA has had their share of highs and lows so far throughout the Milano-Cortina Winter Games.
From dominance in the preliminaries for ice hockey to a sweep of speed skating, the U.S. has made its mark so far.
Team USA’s men’s hockey team went 3-0 in the preliminary round beating Latvia, Denmark and Germany.
For the women’s team, they outscored opponents 20-1 in their four preliminary games, before beating host nation Italy 6-0 in the quarterfinal.
Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck leads in men’s goaltender stats with a 1.00 Goals Allowed Average and a .952 save percentage
Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs leads in points with three goals and two assists through three games
