Dallas 17, Valley View 0
The Dallas Mountaineers posted a shutout 17-0 in the opening round of the 4-A playoffs.
The game was scoreless through almost three quarters until Nico Wilk came up huge under the floodlights.
He scored both the Mountaineers touchdowns and had a pick, with Brandon Miller kicking a field goal for the final score of the game.
Wilk scored his first touchdown with 5:19 left in the third quarter.
Offensively, Valley View couldn’t seem to find the redzone as much as Dallas. A multitude of penalties for the Mountaineers helped them find good field position.
After falling to a 1-5 record after week six of the season, Dallas has now stormed back with five straight victories to improve to 6-5 on the year.
The Mountaineers are now 6-5 after being 1-5 in Week 6. Dallas plays at North Pocono next week in the 4A district title game
