How does it feel to start off the season with a huge win over a top team like that?
It is for sure a great feeling. Starting off the season by beating a strong team really sets the tone for the season and what we are capable of. We have been working super hard and it is nice to see it pay off against a ranked team, it definitely gives us a lot of confidence moving forward.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I’m not that big of a ritual person but I will always listen to music to get locked in, and I will also take time with half my equipment on to visualize the game out on the glass.
Who is your role model?
I have many role models but I would definitely have to say my parents are my top ones who have shown me what hard work, dedication and leadership look like. They have taught me to stay humble, work hard and to ultimately love the game.
How are you feeling about your upcoming series of games against King’s?
We are super pumped, the Battle of the Barre always brings lots of intensity and energy as both teams want to win super badly. We know they will come out strong, but we are prepared to play every shift hard and to stick with our systems.
Any specific goals for the season going forward?
As a team we want to keep pushing hard and getting better every single day. We also have the goal to push deeper into the playoffs this year as well. Personally, I just want to be able to contribute in any possible way I can into making the team successful.
CAM LOWE – #22, SENIOR FORWARD

What are your thoughts after the great start to the season last week, both on a team and personal level?
On a personal level, I was happy with my performance, but even more excited about how we played as a team. We showed that we can compete with some of the best programs in the country. This group is competitive, motivated, and ready to make a statement in D3 hockey this season.
How do you personally prepare for a game?
Before games, I like to focus on what worked well in previous performances and try to build on that mindset. I also stick to my usual warm-up routine to get both mentally and physically ready to compete
What are you looking forward to this weekend against King’s?
This weekend against King’s College will be two tough, hard fought games. It’s one of the best rivalries in college hockey, and that always brings out the best in both teams. We’re focused, ready, and excited to walk away with two league wins.
If you didn’t play hockey, what other sport do you think you would be playing?
Lacrosse
Who has been your biggest inspiration throughout your college career?
My teammates
Both hockey teams are back in action on Nov. 7 and 8 against King’s College to open Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play.
