Colonels overcome King’s to post 18-3 record

Wilkes wrestling finished its regular season match with a big win against King’s College. They will conclude the year with a record of 18-3.

With two forfeits and two Colonels winning off a pin, Wilkes was able to pull away early in the match. Michael Fleck and Eric Bach each pinned their opponents advancing the team on the boards.

Mark Hartenstine, Kris Krawchuk, Nick Lynch and William Fletcher also clenched wins adding to the 43-3 victory. The team honored the seniors, Myzar Mendoza, Hartenstine, Krawchuk, Tyler Lauchaire, Fletcher, Lynch, Phil Racciato, Seth Gray and Michael Shannon on this final match, as well.

The men will prepare for the East Regional at King’s March 2.
