Men’s soccer team looks for comeback at home game

The Wilkes University men’s soccer team looks to get back over .500 when it takes on one of the top teams in the conference, DeSales University, at Schmidt Stadium on Oct. 9, at 4 p.m. The Wilkes team is 3-4 but has also dropped its last three games, while DeSales is 5-2-2.

“Obviously we’re not where we want to be,” Junior Defender Geoffrey Arentz said. “Luckily we have a lot of games left to play to make up for it.”

Eric McAnena leads the Colonels with four goals, trailed closely by Joe Brennan who has three. The goalie situation for the Colonels has not been very clear, with both Dave Marr and Patrick Loube getting equal amount of playing time.
