Donate blood. Save a Life.

Donate blood. Save a Life.

Think about how you would feel knowing that a loved could be helped to health by a unit of blood. Now think about the helpless feeling you would have sitting in the emergency room wishing there was something you could to help.

Wouldn’t it feel good knowing that you have done what you could – donated blood? This blood used in many life-saving procedures isn’t manufactured in a lab; it comes from caring people like you.

Blood donations help save lives every day. One pint of blood can save up to three lives. Donations help people in accidents, suffering from severe illness, and even soldiers fighting for our country. The donation process does not take long but the gratification of knowing you helped someone can last a lifetime.

Wilkes University will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in the Henry Student Center.

In addition to helping others, you can also get information as a result of our donation. Red Cross professionals will analyze your donation and mail you information on your blood type.
