Be it a sheet cake, pound cake, cup cake, cake pop or any form of the delectable treat, chances are you have munched on cake. So, today, celebrate this national holiday by creating and enjoying a delicious desert. Besides, with Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, before you know it, you’ll be devouring pumpkin pie.

A tasty, little cake fact: According to Food Beast, it is believed that cheese cake was served during the Olympic Games in Ancient Greece in 776 B.C. because it is high in energy.
