An opportunity of studying at Wilkes University is available to students looking to receive a new experience studying in a foreign setting.
Students can learn the history and culture of London while visiting the city itself.
Wilkes University offers a program of study abroad for students to go to London for during the spring break from March 1 to 8.
The Study Abroad program is a separate spring semester course with up to three credits in either Communication Studies or history. The courses available will allow for credits in History 101, Communication 354, Communication 398, History 398, History 498 as well as independent study for one or two credits.
No more than 16 people will be admitted into each group.

The travel fees will include round trip airfare and ground transportation to and from the airport. The trip features six nights in a budget-class hotel or better, six breakfasts, dinner on arrival, any museum admissions and a transport for London pass through the entire visit.
A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person is due by Oct. 30. Payment in full is due no later than Dec. 18.
Travelers must be 18 years old to join the study tour.
Stine and Dr. John Hepp, professors at Wilkes University, host the trip. Stine is an associate professor of communication studies and chair of the department. Hepp is an associate professor of history and co-chair of the History and International Studies Department. Both have taught at Wilkes University since 1999.
