Wilkes University Programming Board is excited to announce a special event happening on campus on April 25. Three renowned comedians who have starred in the hit MTV series, Wild‘n’Out: Chico Bean, D.C. Young Fly and Karlous Miller will be at Wilkes. The event will be in the Marts Center, doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. This event is free for all Wilkes undergraduate students and closed to the public.

Support Suicide Prevention: Glow Run

Wilkes University’s sixth annual Glow Run will be sponsored by Residence life from 7 to 11 p.m. on April 27.

Students can register at the Glow Run table in the Henry Student Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. today, Wednesday and Thursday, and April 22-26.

The cost is $10 for Wilkes students and $15 for non-Wilkes students. Students who sign up will also receive a T-shirt for the run.

Get Ready for the Big Event

Student Government will host its annual Big Event on April 27. The Big Event is a campus-wide day of community service where over 400 students go to sites around the Wilkes-Barre area to help in many different ways.

The Big Event is being held on April 27. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. in the Henry Student Center. After the event, there will be a BBQ held on the greenway for those who participated. If interested, please register online by April 19.
