Alternative Spring Break Trip Announcement

The offices of Civic Engagement, Campus Interfaith, Global Education and Diversity along with faculty partner Dr. Miller in Political Science are pleased to announce that applications are now available electronically for the upcoming 2015 Alternative Spring Break trips. Scholarships For Students Of Polish Descent

The Polish Room Committee Scholarship and The Judianne Stanitski Scholarship welcome applications from Luzerne County residents. To be considered, applicants must write a brief description of their Polish heritage (family immigration description) and what that heritage means to them. Second Annual Colonels vs. Cancer 5k Run/Walk

On Sept. 28, the annual Colonels vs. Cancer Homecoming 5k will occur. Pre-registration is across from Evans Hall. is from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m The race starts at 10:00 a.m. The race will be held on Kirby Park Walkways, just across the Market Street Bridge from downtown Wilkes-Barre. Proceeds will be benefiting Relay for Life.

On Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. Akeno Restaurant Night on the Town provides students the opportunity to experience a local area restaurant.
