Zebra Communications launches “A Cup For Change” campaign and food drive

Zebra Communications

Zebra Communications will host “A Cup For Change” coin collection and a food drive from Nov. 7 to Nov. 20 to benefit the local Salvation Army and families in need.

Coin jars are to be placed at 10 stationary locations on the Wilkes University campus, in areas including the Henry Student Center, Stark Learning Center and UCOM.

Food drive boxes will be placed on each floor of University Towers, the Henry Student Center and in UCOM for the collection of nonperishable food items and cans.

All proceeds will help support the families in transition at The Salvation Army’s Kirby Family House in Wilkes-Barre, and to the 2,000 local families who are also in need. Money raised goes towards food, clothing, utilities, staff, facilities, operating costs and “supportive services” including counseling, child care,
providing clothing as needed,
medical care and other necessities.

Monetary online donations can be made at the Salvation Army’s website, thesalvationarmy.com.
