The Sordoni Art Gallery presents The Faculty Exhibition 2014

The Sordoni Art Gallery recently opened their doors to present their newest exhibition. The Faculty Exhibition 2014 is a tribute to the legacy of Dick Fuller, professor of Emeritus of Art.

Fuller began teaching full-time at Wilkes in 1969 and retired in 2000. For the duration of his tenure at Wilkes, he also served as chairperson of the Art Department. He continued to teach part-time at Wilkes through last year. The tribute exhibition will be on view through Dec. 14.

“We at Wilkes, and the community as a whole, are fortunate to have these extremely talented individuals teaching among us and enriching our community immeasurably,” Brittany Kramer DeBalko, assistant director of the Sordoni Art Gallery said.

This exhibition showcases artistic achievements of the Art Faculty at Wilkes. Faculty taking part in the exhibition include Richard A. Fuller (in tribute), Jean C. Adams, Sharon Cosgrove, Beverly Glennon, Steve Husted, Bruce Lanning, Darlene Miller-Lanning, Sara Moore, Lisa Reynolds, Herbert Simon, and Mary Lou Steinberg.

“It was a pleasure to work with our colleagues and friends on this project,” DeBalko added. “We want to thank them for sharing their ideas and enthusiasm with us.”
