Cash prizes to be claimed by Wilkes University’s most talented students

by line: MSC Sponsored talent show offers prizes to participants and audience members

What’s better than having a talent? How about winning a cash prize for having that talent.

Multicultural Student Coalition, MSC, will be holding a talent show on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 PM on the second floor of the student union building in the ballroom, admission is free. All different talents are accepted at the show. MSC hopes to attract a variety of acts.

“We notice a lot of musicians and dancers are signing up,” said Yasmine Solomon, MSC Club Liaison and Senior Criminology Major. “but we are open to any talents that students have.”

There will be three winners at this year’s talent show, and all students who participate have a chance at winning one of the three cash prizes.  Those in the audience also have a chance to win prizes.

“We also include a contest for the audience members to participate in during intermission which can win them a prize.” Solomon said.

Students aren’t the only ones encouraged to mark the show on their calendars. MSC is looking for staff and faculty members to attend the event and judge the talents as they perform.

You can sign up for the show every Tuesday and Thursday in the student union building during club hours.
