Wilkes downs Eastern to earn spot in Freedom Conference Championship

The Lady Colonels advanced to their sixth straight Freedom Conference Championship with a 5-0 blanking of the visiting Eastern Eagles. With the win the Wilkes improved to 18-0 on the season. Wilkes team member Melanie Nolt and Katie Lynn took their No.1 doubles match 8-2 en route to Wilkes capturing all the doubles matches. With the win Wilkes hosted Misericordia in the Freedom Conference Championship, winning their sixth straight title.
